it's bad that he's ignored you three times - at least have the politeness to say 'I don't want to explain'

I think I’ll cope with it.

I only want an EV so I can snooze at the wheel while it drives me to my destination😪

Is that really too much to ask?

I thought you were the bus driver?.

Renault as an example can recycle all their batteries - not sure to the extent though but that's the way to go.

I've driven a few fully recyclable battery vehicles in my time, lead acid forklifts and milk floats, which are pretty much fully recyclable almost limitless!.

This new lipo types are not, regardless of the chemistry and that's long before you get to the rare earth metals in the motors.

Gareth when they come up with a pick up I can buy for the same price as a diesel that does a similar range and has matching performance I’ll be in the dealership. Equivalent hybrid ranger to my 3.2 wildtrack is nearly 80k with a lesser spec all round. That’s before I even think of the power cuts we often experience up here. Mind you I do have a back up diesel generator 😂
Anyway I’m still waiting for the explanation of those amazing numbers SP posted. Not much response which is strange seeing as he’s normally in rabid dog mode with my posts.

I think it's not so much the metals that are the problem, it's more the plastics and composite materials that are difficult/impossible to recycle. Same is the case with wind turbines blades.
