Shed recommendations

Recommended Posts

As the title says looking for shed recommendations.
Looking at either 6x8 or 8x8 , I’ve been looking at metal sheds as most likely will be put on a slabbed area and I like the idea of not needing to keep treating a wooden shed.
any recommendations would be great

thanks in advance

Metal ones are pretty flimsy and a pain to put up - definitely a two person job.
have done a few. Condensation is a problem, and I put a 2” raised concrete floor inside one to prevent water ingress under the sides.

Personally I’d go high quality wood, not B&Q type. Proper heavy duty felt on the roof too.  I’ve put loads up over the years and you really do get what you pay for - treated properly from the start and looked after, decent ones will outlast me!

What he said. Wood won't rot if you keep its feet dry and the roof drains away from it.

I'm not keen on roof felt unless it is torched on, I went for profiled metal with foam insulation , seconds, which prevents condensation and keeps cool in direct sun.
