My slightly less cheap McCulloch, also from Lidl, has a carb issue preventing the primer from sucking fuel through.. sucking air from the carb. It doesnt have enough power to really be worth the time reassembling. I will eventually.

Yea but I thought with these B+Q/Home base stuff you just take it back just before the warranty  date and they give you another one if its working or not ?

Abuse of statutory consumer rights aside, all this disposable shit does is waste your money and condemn some black kid off an Oxfam advert to wade around a nickel mine for another season.
