Have you got a garden eggs? Gardening lifts the soul, is a good workout and anchors you to the seasons. Old Jeremy Clarkson says he didn't have a clue before he farmed!

Get a decent winter project on, those gloomy days need filling with something uplifting!

Yeah, it’s a garden flat, it’s about as big as a postage stamp, I’ve got a small greenhouse that came off one of the local free sites and I’ve bought a little shed that me and our kid have our bikes in and my tools. The thing is, when I’m on the road people come to speak to me because they are intrigued by people who live that way so I’m speaking to different people in different places all the time, here I see no one and speak to no one. Don’t know if I’ll stick it.

Selling gets a very different response than having a small amount on the passenger seat when parked up for the night.

Grow it but give it away to the hundreds of new friends that will miraculously appear.

I can’t see this living in a pile of bricks lasting long, I’ve decorated right through, what do I do next?

Too much of this will drive me madder than I already am. I’m just not suited to it.

If my parents are anything to live by, knock down a few walls, rearrange the house completely then a few years later revert it back to what it was. Repeat as and when necessary.

You retired now & need a  new hobby?

Not retired as such, don’t need to work but I’m thinking of doing a few days a week for our kids mate who owns a tyre and exhaust place. I have recently started to get a few bits of fishing gear together again after many years away from the bank. It’s the interaction with people I miss.
