Hearing on the grape vine that predator stump grinders have gone bust? Anyone got any more info on this? Also heard that Ben burgess may have bought them out? Surely getting parts for these machines could now be troublesome. Lots of lads out there running these machines which is worrying?

Even then, like most manufacturers the parts are standard throughout the industry and relatively off the shelf such as bearings, belts, bolt etc.

With the more specific things being the frame/chassis and maybe cutting heads etc.

I've worked with a few companies that enjoyed being arsey, buying cable that had insulation reduced to save weight or developing a on/off switch that wasn't standard. Pee'd me off no end as it was daft, all so people couldn't copy, make it economical and people won't copy.

fsi b22. got it at the arb sow in Wilts. I forget the company that was a dealer but they no longer are in operation.

Cracking little machine, in comparison its built so much stronger and also  though the engine is smaller its not a problem.

Bigger i went sg40 from Global machinery ( change name now slightly if i remember). Speak to Dean

wouldnt go back to a predator because they didnt update/upgrade the crappy wire lever system thats nothing but trouble!
