Pottering about with my chimney pot, went up to clear a blockage in the chimney, went to take of the bird guard and the pot broke away about 50mm from base quite a neat break right round, lucky I had a tube of anchor resin so cleared the blockage, wee wire brush round the break, bead of resin , stick pot back together and jobs a good un. Will order a new pot and fit in the summer as there was a few hairline cracks in the pot.

educate me what and why for next time I take on something out of my depth

Big, strong screws that should support the weight of big-arsed, big-titted Suffolk heifers sat down, listing back and forth breathing heavily in your shop while you try to look somewhere, anywhere else. They're like nails in that they can flex, like a nailed-together house frame moving in the wind. Normal screws are comparatively brittle.

All manner of scenes of ladies night at some sketchy east country bar, where only young, stupid and brave guys dare to open the door spring into my mind here. Long extension and a driver bit you're prepared to lose, finish the scene (and the night) here 🤪

Balance beam instead. Do you want your child growing up to bum around camp 4 with people who say things like ‘psyche’ and ‘steez’ or at the olympics? Hippy.

Balance beams are for pussies. It's for me as much as for him in all honesty. Anarchist.

Felt inspired to get ours out on the bank holiday Monday.

It's still as hard as I remember, but at least the kids had fun.

Lidl ratchet straps is a great idea. How much pull can they take?
