I thought every fly by nights tool of choice was a pole saw ?

Pole Saws are the future. Why faff around with ropes and stuff when you can just do everything from the comfort of the ground with a Pole Saw? (As long as the requisite work wear of muscle top, jeans and trainers is worn.)

Second that on the 550XP. Ripping saws, guys I work with use them for brashing and that’s they’re flat out all day. 
 

Get about a year or two out of them in constant use but that’s good going I’d say… 

 

 

Echo 621SX, my felling partner bought one in October. 
 

Been in for warranty like 1-2 times. Each time comes back same problem, no real support on them I don’t think…

Let's be proper tree people and use the polesaw from the mewp to get up to the hard to reach bits.

Most  bonafide  tree firms have a gypsy stick or two on board, often on top of a tarmac rake and a set of heavy bolt croppers with unusually long handles
