Greese

I use lithium grease from a grease gun for everything including strimmers and hedge cutters, with no issues.  Id guess that more things fail from lack of lubrication than the wrong type of grease/oil.

What should you not use silicone grease on?

Because of their high viscosity index and low surface energy, silicone greases do not create a robust hydrodynamic film to separate components and prevent wear. As a result, Nye does not recommend silicone greases for most high load applications, like metal-on-metal gearing

WRAS silicone tends to also contain talc as a ingredient, so it's effectively a cutting compound.

Just buy Stihl or Husqvarna grease, it costs peanuts. You could use as suggested a EP2 grease that's lithium, the number is it's viscosity. 000 is like water, 3 is peanut butter.

As long as its got groove, its got meaning, and maybe its the time, the place, the motion, and the way we are feeling (or something along those lines) - it'll be fine.

Is the word ...is the word...is the word ...🙂
