Bit like most road drainage you see, the designers must all be Spanish judging by how little rain it takes to overwhelm it.

 

Think it was Southport, the sand blows over the road, due to rules they have to landfill the sand as it's classed as waste.

There was a video of some lads swimming down the height street near here! Luckily we’re off the coast far enough but I feel for the people who got it in, you can’t beat water.
