I look especially at Afghanistan and most of those countries, whilst for example Gaddafi/Saddam was bad they did at least keep things in check.

In those terms they were both tolerated for that reason, when things went out of control a bit they were removed.

Just for the hell of it someone was interviewing non English ( born and bred ) people who are in this county . They were asked if conscription happened they would take up arms and fight for this country . To a man they all said no way . Its not our war . Happy to take all the benefits , NHS and all the rest though ...

Nationality be damned, British born and bred here, though I describe myself as European, not British. I wouldn’t take up anyone's arms as a result of conscription, least of all King Sausage Fingers the Third and his non-extended family of elaborately-chinned circus freaks.

If the cause for war was justified I'd happily volunteer, but purely out of principle I'd be among the white feather brigade if His Royal Charliness was ever tempted to make yet another gargantuan effort to move his drinks cabinet six inches closer to Berlin.

And yes, I'd still happily use the NHS.

conscription is fine as long as all eligible sons/daughters of every single MP, Peer and civil servant are in the first wave off the beach.

Once they are all gone then they can recruit the general public.

The Australians had been supplying cardboard drones, think they were like 2k each.

Which seemed a bit expensive as that's without any of the electronics.

I am pretty sure Ukraine have been making their own as well .

War is very profitable.

A Mr Alfred did very well out of it.

I wonder if the Russians have turned off their GPS in the area, Glosnass or if they'll be kicking off about them using the EU or American GPS.
