Whole family has now been ill for 5 weeks with a relentless cough that won’t quit. Everyone I speak to locally says people round them are dropping like flies. I remember similar happened tail end of 2019 and we all know what happened next.

covid-20 coming to a city near you early 2024, you heard it here first!

Sorry to hear that Steve . This must be what people are referring to as the " 100 day cough " I presume .

At work on Wednesday and sneezed 5 times in the day Thursday sneezed between 8 to12 times, got home and nose started running badly, by 11.00 throat was so sore could not sleep, got out of bed 8.30 Friday felt like shit head ach and couldn't keep awake.

Friday night felt better with just a bit of a runny noise and a slight sore throat.

Did visit dentist on Wednesday morning so me thinking picked something up there.

Haven’t been overly ill with it, aside from muscle aches from the constant coughing. Kids have both had fevers though.

flipping hope it isn’t 100 days stubby!

About 5 years ago I cought/developed a cough . Nothing to bring up but just coughed for about 2 months . Ended up passing out in the kitchen fracturing my cheek bone and eye socket and putting my teeth through my bottom lip . Was taken to hospital for a day and a night and when I came out the cough was gone . Apparently ( it happens to blokes rather than woman )  you cough so hard  the muscles  in your chest compress your heart stopping the blood flow to your brain hence passing out .

Were you ill with anything before the cough started?  Post viral coughs often last several weeks
