Advice on a windblown tree

Hi, just after some advice on a wind blown, hung up tree. I'm pretty comfortable with felling standard trees, but not entirely sure on how to deal with this. I'd like to remove it from stump and tow bottom out. What cut would be suitable? It won't roll out either way, and it's very rotten at the base.

Tbh I'd have thought that would come down itself if you off root it.

Always difficult to do anything with something that rotten but personally I'd take that rope off it, put a token gob in* and then back cut it from the right to left or just standing on the left of you've a big enough bar to reach. There's a fair bit of weight in that stem, I'd expect it to pull itself down once loose at the butt.

* not too much in case it pinches your saw.

another vote for going up the left hand tree its caught in and cutting the top free.

i wouldnt wanna be playing with the base yet, a twist in the top and the butt could take you out.

looks like theres some cross over in the top above whats visible in the pic. id like to see higher before i venture a comment on a base cut

Thanks for all the feedback. Unable to climb the other tree. It is on a golf course and there's plenty of  Access room to tow base away, so I'll go for that.

This is a pretty common occurane on the golf course, so if the tree wasn't rotten, and just partially snapped at base or partial root plate lift, and hung up, would you put in a standard gob and back cut in to get the base free on the ground to tow out? Would thay be the correct procedure/cut?
