Morning all,

Rain forecast, but sky looks ok. Hopefully putting the hedge cutter on the compact tractor and doing local job.

Yesterday I took a 4 cu metre load of wet heavy chippings to a customer. Hydraulic hose failed when I operated the tipper. Came home, dragged the chip out with the digger, hose now off and got to get one made today.

Keep buggering on.

It's a sinking feeling, isn't it? Went to tip this evening at the allotment, press button and absolutely nothing.

Luckily just a wire out inside the plug so easily found and cludged back in using the wrong screwdriver from the van.

All sorted now……until the next mechanical problem. Several years ago I came to accept that the more bits of machinery you have, the more breakdowns you will have to sort. A bit like accepting my body is wrong side of sixty.

Morning all.

Same site clearance job for me again.

Slipped on a banking yesterday and I'm feeling it this morning.

Felled a lot of trees this week, all sizes, weights, leans and other such challenges. They've all gone where they were meant to go but it occured to me yesterday, I'm definitely an arb!

Have a good one folks.

Morning, yesterday I got the Robo bogged bringing it off the hill, so that was an hour on the hand winch getting that out.  Then caught up with the fabricator to see how the new mog back was coming on, so that’s looking good.  Then north to Robo.  Sunny day after 10am and worked on it was that nice and light to near 6pm.  Back up there today to hopefully finish the job off, 600m of track to pull crap into a pile to Robo.

Doug I’ve not felled a tree about 4 months ago and to say it went bang on was only because we removed 5 fence panels and not 1 😂

  have a Good Friday gents.
