Well that is good to know. I think i will get them to provide the saw though, not messing about with mine for no good reason.

Is there anything that says that the saw you take to bits has to be the same one as you use for the rest of the course??

I am sure i will figure something out..

You can also submit a drawing in crayons of how you would Fell a tree rather than having to do it

Just realised that's why I failed mine, I felled the actual crayon rather than drawing with it.

Easy mistake to make.

Avoid it.  It’s possibly not for people like you.

That's where the trees grow, middle of a field.

Well, i have yet to see a tree in a workshop...

john..

Normally we use tools to maintain chainsaws…. Tools in workshops.

The use of trees to fix chainsaws is not unheard of, but it is generally the hallmark of utter desperation bought on by a combination of poor decision making, the end of a tiring wet day, and the prospect of a long, long walk through the forest to the nearest toolbox.

Ha ha ha!!

You know these course things, is there any paperwork or do you just do things?? If they ask you questions, how do they know you are not cheating and just saying what the other bloke said??

They ask you questions, they make you do things, they are often conducted  in isolation away from other candidates….. you get the picture.
