Good evening, hope you’re enjoying the bank holiday looking for recommendations for a good set of ladders/tripod ladder for cutting large shrubs and hedging. Mine used to belong to my dad so they’re quite old but unfortunately I’ve killed them. Can anyone recommend anything? Many thanks. Rob

Tripod with 3 adjustable legs every time. The 2 adjustable leg ones just arnt the same

Thanks for the info. That is what I’m leaning towards but thought I’d ask hear first. Would you have a brand for me to take a look at?

I’ve got a 6ft and a 10ft pair which cover pretty much everything I do. With the 3 adjustable legs you get nearly another 2ft of height if needed so the 6’s become 8’s and the 10’s can be 12’s if needed.

Have a hendon  3 leg adjustable  one.

Not used the henchman vesion so dunno how they compare with each other with regards to build quality but henchman do 2 versions standard &  heavy duty

Have a read on  the Niwaki website  Think they popularized them first...and have some info on there.

I’ve found Henchman have the best hole spacing, we had 1 of another make and sold it on to buy another Henchman one, can’t remember what make it was but it just wouldn’t adjust the same was always to little or to much.
