These manufacturers need to get off their high horse about this. Their responsibilty ends when the machine leaves the factory. If people want to modify them, it's up to them, and if they have spent upwards of £25,000, they should be allowed to unchallenged. It's nothing to do with anyone else.

I can think of a certain chipper manufacturer who has threatened to sack people if they even dare to suggest to a customer that the fuel settings can be modified.

I’m intrigued by all this! I have a V1505T in my Logbullet, it’s a 2019. I think it’s got in the region of 44-48hp, but not quite sure. Could this be modified and made more potent perhaps?

No, yours is the full fat version and turbo to boot.

And if you're complaining about a lack of power, how much worse will the 26hp version be??

I’ve got the 26hp version, no real complaints about the power tbh, but then again the engine is only running hydraulic pumps, there’s no direct drive/ getting a flywheel up to speed like a chipper. 
 

this was Pekkas response to my initial concern before ordering 

Lifting power is the same, cranes 11cc pump does not require too much power. The problem with smaller engine is going hills up - there is 28cc pump and higher pressure than with crane. I try to solve that issue with new valve setting that should give more power to climp the hills. 
 

 

mines got different wheel motors too to help with the power 

 

just looked at the manual and the chapter “turning up logbullet performance” and this is mentioned “Kubota engine has several seals in injection pump area. Top rpm is limited due emission regulations.” 

what’d they be? Does he mean RPM or power? I rarely have it flat out for crane work as it is, only driving!

I would imagine the seals in the injection pump area refers to the wire threaded through all the adjustment bolts and crimped with a Kubota seal- tamper evident.
