Wrong Flue!

Recommended Posts

I know, what a daft mistake. Flexifluedirect were brilliant in getting it all to us fast but won't take back 10m of the 904 steel pipe as I ordered 6" and the stove has a 5" collar. Now, I have read different reports of this making little to no difference to a poor draw. The register plate is wrong too so I am thinking if it won't make much difference to just leave it as 6" with an adaptor is there is such a thing?
Advice / experience appreciated thanks.

Remind me again how you do that @someonesname thing as I'm not getting it, thanks in advance👍

And to the OP, sorry for the derail and I also think your flue will be fine.

You have to type the @ up against the user name with no space @Macpherson

@Macpherson as others say you type the @ sign and on my pc as you start typing the username the sever gives suggestions and I pick the right one from the list.

Of course it doesn't work if the person has decided not to accept notifications

Fitting a stove with a 5” collar to a 6” flue using a 5” to 6” increasing adaptor is perfectly acceptable and as said leaves ones options open further down the road.

I have the same setup on one of my stoves.
