At 12v that's 42A

Heated seat would be better option at 10-15A. But it's probably cheaper just to keep the engine running on tickover.

People always said 15 minutes of idling equal a mile when sat in traffic, so say 1.5 litre an hour.

It would need to be hard wired to the battery tho at that amperage, unless you can find a 100w version.

If your wanting a more permanent solution, diesel night heaters would be better but you start cutting holes in things for the exhaust.

probably better with one of those small diesel engine cab heater things.

My mate has one and it really does seem to do the job. Can even get remote start so preheats it before you even get to the vehicle and as its its own engine i gather other than a small amount of current to start its otherwise independent of the trucks system and killing the battery.

That thing will be utterly useless. The Chinese lie about every measurement, and watts are no exception.

You'd be better off investigating why your truck won't keep you warm at tickover. Check the thermostat isn't stuck. For a quick fix, stick some cardboard over the radiator.

Other than that, for reasomable portable heat and emergency home heating, consider a Japanese kerosene heater. https://toyotomi.co.uk/shop/zibro-heaters-rs29-wick-burner-3-0kw/I've got one for my office at the yard and it's great. You don't need to vent to outside, and my carbon monoxide alarm is telling me I'm not dead ye111111111111111111111111111111111

Whatever you want is going to be very limited especially if you're plugging it into the cigarette lighter socket. Less than 150w at 12v.

I'm sure one of the other guys on here had a Landover with the "Range Rover Sport Webasto Diesel Heater" fitted ?.
