We got hammered yesterday and last night...over 1' of snow. The snow ploughs push all the snow into banks by the side of the road, everyone is digging out this morning....except me, I just drive over or through the banks. :laugh1: Note that the roads actually get ploughed over here, last time my parents had heavy snow in Surrey......there was not a snow plough to be seen.

Ha yeah climbed all day yesterday in the snow, blizzards and all taking down a big cedar but couldn't finish clearing up cos we couldn't see the ground! Had to tell the lady I'd be back as soon as it was clear. Don't like leaving jobs that way. Managed to get home before it got too bad about 5pm. Didn't even leave the house today tho! My bro and his girlfriend both had to abandon their cars, they had about a foot down in Folkestone!

Had a biker in front of me this morning on the snowy roads. I did'nt want to overtake him in case he stacked it and slid under my car. Sure enough, 30seconds later, his bike went crashing up the pavement and he went sliding across the road. I got out and made sure he was ok and helped him pick his bike up. Suzuki GSXR1000 .......in the snow, NUTCASE!!!

I have to drop down a steep lane with a 90deg left hander at the bottom, every day there are cars and vans in the ditch opposite, the road is just a sheet of ice! Makes me laugh, before the "Big Freeze" a hint of frost and the gritters were out in force, now its like they've totally given up, dont even see one.
