Evening all

Anyone using the Brian James 12x6 Plant Trailer or any Brian James plant trailer

Not long bought brand new, thought I was upgrading from my 2915 ifor gh1054, unfortunately not the case. Lovely looking trailer but tows awfully, I have a izuzu d max and when the trailer is empty it bounces the rear of the truck round terribly.

What's your thoughts lads and ladies.

Is your ball hitch at the right height? Our Indespension is awful on  my Ranger with a low hitch but the two twin axles and the 18ft tri Brian James are ace! I'd rather take take the tri axle anydayvefen though it is a long thing.

Well, I would've done if someone hadn't stolen it!

I've a Brian James tipper, fine on Defender but will make the passengers sick if I put it on the car such a terrible bounce. The BJ non tipper I had before was fine on both.

Haven't checked specs for a couple of years but there used to be shock absorbers on the option list, I have wondered if these would reduce this problem.

I bought a Brian James plant trailer a few years ago after having a bit of a fallout with IW over a ‘Friday built’ trailer of theirs.
It felt like an upgrade when I collected it but turned out to be a load of crap - kept cracking through the body.

I leant it to a mate a year or so ago and don’t miss it!!!

OK thanks all. I really wish I'd stuck with ifor, I own another 3 of them.

Il try the level test Tuesday when in the yard and see how it goes. It has a full width ramp which is extremely heavy which I think isn't helping but I want the full width ramp not 2 single bloody things.

Il try the tow ball height and see how I get on. It's in the top holes on truck towbar and if I get adjustable hitch it will obscure the number plate 😭
