Is the padding over your calf?

I assumed it was more conventional to have the padding over your shin.

Padding is on the shin with bare strap around the calf.
but it is getting me worse in the arch of the bottom of my feet

Anyway, I still use them.

And they are still more comfy than those treehog ones!

Baseline Alloys for me.  Had them about 15 years.

Changed the top Velcro pads twice in that time.

Spikes that are too short are a killer in the knees.  The top strap should be 2 fingers below the joint of the knee.

Puts far less pressure on your knees.  Not sure how it would help the soles of your feet though.
