IMO don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Wood burner, gas camping stove, ghillie kettle, inverter on a vehicle, small 12v solar setup for lights/usb charging, worklights/torches, candles, batteries, tinned foods, battery radio, and a small gennie to run freezer etc once a day

And a baseball bat to fend off zombies

I’ve found an 11kva going to wire it as auto start with auto change over.mum is on EOL care so don’t want to take a chance this winter can’t tell if doom mongers are over hyping the power problem

I’d rather have an 11Kv generator sat ready to go ‘just in case’ and possibly have to work around it’s limitations (immersion off when showering for example) than spend time and unknown money pondering/waiting for the right genny/hopefully eventually buying something that ticks every known box out there.
11Kv is a lot, if you can’t live off that in times of hardship then you need to learn to be a bit more flexible in your outlook!
