Firewood wanted arb waste accepted! Cheshire/Staffs border

Hi all,

 

Been lurking for a while. Registered as a site to tip, but, ideally after hardwood or soft, can take an array of sizes as long as not absolutely huge.

Based near Macclesfield, Bosley. Easy to reverse up and tip if needed.

So many folk wanting free logs these days. I completely understand that but with everyone feeling the pinch a commodity that’s now at about £90 a builders bag for hardwood will increasingly be processed and sold by the guys felling the trees.

Saying that I’ve had near on 30t of hardwood dropped at my yard by a tree surgeon I know simply because he’s so busy and his yard is already over flowing. 🤣

Thanks for the constructive replies, I know how the game works so if you want rid of wood to carry on a days work then great, if you are already selling wood I’m not sure why you’d comment to be honest.

I was out processing a tree surgeons logs last Saturday. We filled 16 IBC’s with logs he’d ordinarily have tipped. Everyone is watching the pennies now.
