How much to charge for fresh felled Ash?

Bugger, lost a wordy post.

Anyway kinda need fair mates rates.

Don't wish to poke the bloke. Dont wish to part too soft either.

Hmmm

 

 

 

I just paid £100 a ton for some of the best 30” Ash Sawlogs I’ve seen to date.

 

I’ve also just paid £200 for an 18t load of Beech for Firewood.

I would say £50-60 a ton roadside for tidy firewood ash, more like £30-40 for the beech above because it's a pain to process 

 

Wish I could get a decent price for ash sawlogs, I have some here but no one local is interested.

They’re gun barrel straight and branch free. If it was not for that I’d not bother with them.
