Good morning all. Hope your well. I am looking for some advice. I’ve just done my CS30/CS31 and looking to do the other course in the near future. The question I have is how do I price my work? I know there’s many factors to take into consideration. What sort of work and so. Is there any sort of guide to price.
Logging, Branch removal, felling.  The other question I have is there a site check list on hear to print out. Thanks Rob

You go and work for someone else until you know what you’re doing.

What he said, a few years working for a company to learn your trade.

I’ve already reached out to people to try and get the odd day here and there but it’s hard when you run your own garden maintenance business and always fully booked.

Dunno then, but if you get your pricing wrong (we've all done it) it's going to cost you money.

Thanks. I get what your saying. That why I was asking to see if I could get gauge of what people would charge. Like I’ve said I spoken with a few tree guys and put forward one day a week to try again knowledge. Been told they will let me know when they need extra help. In the moon time trying to get any work to gain experience behind the saw that’s within my capability and I feel comfortable doing.

Thanks Stere. Will have a look. Thanks for the useful link.

Rob few things to factor in. Start with a day rate you and the customer are happy with and go from there. Do not take on work you cannot do and speak to contractors if help is needed also put a quote in writing.

Les you know it isn't that easy, I'm not trying to put a downer on it but come up against a big job/tree and it's easily fecked up... on day three of what you thought was a 2 day job you are on the phone pushing other work back whilst paying contractors/ staff another days money. You need to know what you are doing to price a job, even with years of experience we all still get it wrong from time to time
