Snowdrops out early

Took this earlier today at a customers. Next to a mature Beech trunk, snowdrops, pumpkin and autumn leaves - not the combination you’d expect to see in November

Still have tomatoes on the vine and the daffs are about 4 inches up. I reckon it'll be a tough spring.

Nice bit of moss dug up by a bird at the back door here, now I don’t know was it for food or a nest. Also noticed willow buds swollen yesterday. Hardly caused by COVID or brexit is it?

We are in some very strange times at present, sub zero temps here from Saturday am till lunch time Monday, 2" snow Sunday lunch time and was still here Monday, then it started with that shitty drizzel about 11 ish and temps flew up to 11 degrees by 5pm, then i see a report of snow drops out in flower and just seen a video on FB from Robert Fuller with 2 Kesterals with one of them siting on a egg,

Sure is at the moment, 12 degrees and pissing down here now and 36hrs ago it was -8 and i think some one on here said about 2 wk ago they cancelled a job due to a Blackbird sat on eggs in a conifor !
