I reckon Mike Zarkos said that the Haglund lasted a couple of years before it was separated and the Haglund was returned to Witham. But the Defender was from SAS in Malvern and that too was split....May be wrong though.

A true case of it looked good on paper! The concept is good if you could lose the height I reckon it could have legs.

 

I think the only way would be to use a front wheel drive truck and bend the chassis down and round under the chipper, possibly between the rear trailing arms. But this would bring you into SVA regs and possibly a whole load of ball ache

This was the thing I was looking for! I seem to recall that the owner has been very happy with the set up. if it works well for him, then very best wishes to him!
