If your going for a MS 250.. go for the MS 260 as it's the heavy duty professional version.

I only quoted the MS250 to show the price difference. I have not chose a saw yet.

Could do with some advice.

I could get one from our local agri suppliers but they not have much range & normally their prices make you cry. Might be worth a look as I need to go in tomorrow any way.

Just spotted that Husky also seem to be stopping mail order sales too according to this advert HERE

oops just checked the invoice that should have been £400 inc

Ah Tony now thats a better deal.

Main use is cutting wood lol.

Its a one saw does it all. So felling thinnings to 2 or 3 foot trees. Then limbing up & ringing up. I'm not doing it all day every day but when I am using it it will prob work all day for a week or so then get used occasionally till the next session. In a year it will prob see about 3 weeks work.

I rate the 260,had no probs with mine since 2004,and it does get some use.If you can get someone to send you one it is a viable option.

Sorry and this is no offence to any one but the 260 is the worst pro saw i have ever used! fine by the chipper but give it a few days in the woods it wil be in a bag of bits or seized........
