All regular pump fuel is going to E10 over the summer, super stays at E5. If your using pump fuel then I suggest you use super going forward.

Standing fuel in machines not regularly used will become an increasing problem as they up the ethanol content. Don’t think this is the end of the road for ethanol content, they will want to increase it as much as possible.

Aus have E85 "Race Fuel" making appearances at pumps now. Cars obviously have to be set up to run it but I can imagine it going that way!

Ethanol is the work of the devil !  It is soo  hygroscopic  it causes all kinds of problems . This is one of the reasons I use only alkylate  fuel now .

I think E85 is pretty common in Scandinavia too.

Does E 85 mean it is 85% ethanol ?  ( like E 5 is 5% )

Maybe, although with ev taking off more and more we could find petrol stations in the decline before long anyway.  I suspect we will all be buying alkalyte fuel unless you are close to an airport and can get ul91 avgas as a result.

Wouldn't want to use avgas in a chainsaw, it's leaded. Normal petrol fumes are bad enough.
