  1. Standing fuel in machines not regularly used will become an increasing problem as they up the ethanol content. Don’t think this is the end of the road for ethanol content, they will want to increase it as much as possible.
  2. I have couple of other diagnostic kits (texa, candoo), and believe it or not this is actually on the cheap(er) side.

  4. 0457_368_0016_A_K14.pdfSorted!0457_368_0016_A_K14.pdf Received the diagnostic kit today and the username and password is included in the kit, on an official Stihl label. So it's not (or no longer is) just a dealer only login to download. However it's a pretty big setup .exe file, around 950 MB or so. The version which downloaded was version: 3.16.1 - Build: 3. Following install the program pulled down another database update. It looks like the program periodically checks for database updates. This doesn't require any logins etc. I've attached the installation instructions, in case anyone wants to see.

  6. Are you absolutely sure it’s online? I’ve been told it’s a downloadable program. You can run and install it on a PC laptop, and don’t have be connected to the internet to use it. Just need to have a dealer login to get it.
  7. Hi Would any members here happen to hold a recent copy of said software? I’m hitting a roadblock obtaining a copy as one must be an authorised Stihl agent to download it from their portal. Slightly annoying as they’ll sell you the diag. hardware but keep hold of the SW - whatever happened to “right to repair” Messrs Stihl!? 😂 All assistance appreciated. TIA
