As Ian says, don't undersell yourself. Even if you are inexperienced you had to go out and buy all the PPE and you have to get to site and pay for food etc. If you're turning up and dragging brash, sweeping, clearing the smaller twigs so people aren't tripping over, feeding the chipper etc you're still benefiting them. Don't put yourself out of pocket even if that means £50 a day for the first few whilst you get some experience, cover your costs!
