How much are you looking at for crane hire would be my question? What's the balance between the cost of the crane Vs the cost of the team? Would the crane rental be a lot less than the additional cost of a slightly smaller team for a second day to complete the last bit? Better the money goes in your pocket than the crane companies. Unless it was a road and you needed to deal with closures and traffic control and the time based cost of that I can't see the advantage of having it done in one day with expensive kit and possible damage to the brickwork?

One of the companies that I work for specialises in crane work. My boss is a qualified appointed person. He is doing a demonstration and some presentations at the APF arb show this September. I can't wait, its going to be really interesting

Who's your boss then? By 'one of the companies you work for', do you mean 'one of the companies I do spammy marketing for'?

@benedmonds- how did this job go in the end?
