Got one of these but the next strength down- would def get the one in the link. Not found much of value yet but only used it a couple of times so far. 54p in small coins was the most exciting 😏 but will def be giving it another go once the water warms up a bit

A request please. If you decide to have a crack at this, please be aware that anything you pull out of the river becomes your responsibility in law. I live on the Norfolk broads and see the detritus people pull out and abandon on the side of the bank regularly. Worse still, large lumps of steel or cast iron dumped in the grass nearby, a horrible accident waiting to happen for some poor bleeder operating a flail mower or a passer by.

At best it's littering, at worse, it's a danger to human life.

Rant over.

Look up diver magnets, commonly used by commercial divers inshore and offshore to assist with staying in position on metal structures especially flat bottomed tankers etc. Anything from 50KG to 2000kg if you have the urge.

Curious how a magnet needs to be "underwater" spec to work underwater?

Not like they are gonna short out or anything!

Stainless components in its construction and so they can charge more for it 🙄which is often the case.
