It was sulphur, why let the facts spoil a good story. In the 80's and 90's as sulphur emissions dropped,  fertiliser for Oil seed rape crops had it added as crops were getting deficient, due to the reducing acid rain.

Not really at work, but when walking the dogs earlier I noticed this refraction on the dew and cobwebs showing up like a ground based "rainbow". Photos don't do it justice. It was a thing of beauty.

Lovely morning for a lazy stroll through the sod fields.

Yep, some beautiful autumn colours around at the moment. We went to visit a lovely garden and arboretum yesterday: some of the acers were stunning.

I instructed a chainsaw refresher course last week. One of the guys, a 76 year old, asked me did I want to have a look at his tractors. One his, one his sons. 70hp of Perkins Diesel a piece.
