At last I've got old drum out, just waiting on bearings tomorrow then we should be up and running again. Fantastic customer service yet again from Jase & Pete at Greenmech.

I'll definitely have limited capabilities next time if it saves me all this hassle :001_tt2::001_tt2:, that or 50% off a new 130

Good to meet you and your family today Shaun, thanks for the tea - it was just how I like it! Good luck with the repair and new bearings, feel free to phone for reassurance if you need it. Cheers.

It's back up and running like a dream, won't be changing bearings again though. Thing will go in canal first. Cheers again to the Greenmech guys for all the help

Yes - brilliant chipper for a third of the price of a CS100 and just as GOOD. I have had two over priced CS100's and I prefer the Rock one + money in the bank

In the video the chipper was a brand new one.. What are they like after a weeks use? Can you buy replacement blades and how easy are they to change?

I don't see how that Rock with it's single cylinder engine can beat a CS100 in terms of performance.

As for talk of money in the bank, your forgetting the high residual value of a CS100 and excellent back up from G.M.

This.

Plus i ran a wee Greenmech and had good dealer backup.  My machine had done alot of work when i sold it on last year but it stihl made good money. The infeed chute on a GM is a better design and alot wider.  Hard to beat really.

I'll second this! The cs100 on imho has pretty much the best Infeed cute on a small chipper. I've just come from a Jansen gte1500 which being pretty much the same as the venom is not in the same league as the Greenmech, I've only one real niggle with the cs100 and that's the discharge cute is not the best when you point it left or right to fill up a wheely bin for example, but straight on it's bloody fantastic.
