So after fitting a new battery on the Greenmech CS100, worked fine for 4 days but now I’m back to square one. Turn key and you hear 1 click at starter but it won’t turn over. Tested battery and it’s fully charged.

Check battery earth and engine  earth strap too.  I wonder if the charge unit is breaking down and your battery is gradually being drained. Put a Meyer across the terminals when running and see how much it is producing?

Is the ignition actually switching everything off at the key? Sounds like you are producing enough while running  anyhow, I'll give Jase a nudge to see what Intel he can give you!

Every time I speak to Jase it ends up costing me money

which reminds me I need to order blade bolts and 3 hopper/chute knob/handles :thumbup1:

Ok Shaun, this is for free..

Take off the yellow wire from the starter motor solenoid and check for 12volts between this wire and earth when you turn the ignition key to the start position.

If you have this voltage, peel back the rubber boots from the two large connectors on the red leads on the solenoid and carefully bridge these together with a short length of electrical wire.

If it now cranks then the solenoid us faulty...if it still won't crank then the starter motor is faulty.

I think we have had solenoid failures in the past..

I hope this helps....

Jase.
