Echo cs2511tes with panther bar 12 or 14 inch?

Hi guys looking to buy the above saw from chainsawbars.co.uk. 

Trying to decide between the 12 and 14 inch bar, would like to go for the 14 but want to make sure the saw can cope with it.

Anyone any experience of this combo?

Ive the 2511 on a 10", think its a great combo! (mainly pruning and small fells/trees with small diameter branches)

 

Theres no way i'd consider running a 14" on a standard saw.

14 is way to much 10 12 max and to be honest i wouldn't go panther i don't really rate them they don't last if im honest if you order a 2511tes it will come with a sugih 10 pro carving bar witch is worth its wight in gold or if your gonna go 12 fork the cash and get a sugih pro light for it they last years the bars do

Definitely get the 12" not enough power for 14"

Mines had an exhaust mod. Run on 10” bar. Perfect. A Long bar on it would be too much and defeats the object of having a small light saw.
Same re panther. The nose splayed apart after about 4 chains. Was told this is normal for them so I went for a Sugi replacement. Only a couple of chains in but seems fine.

i run two 2511's. 1 on an 8 inch c&b and the udder on a 10 inch c&b.  I reckon 12 inch c&b will really sap the power.

10” and a stihl bar with exhaust mod is my 2511 set up... pretty happy with it and use it for pruning , bucket work and small takedowns... can’t fault it to be honest.

Is the Stihl bar a straight swap Matty? Chain too? (got the narrow Echo 1/4 10" bar and chain) 

 

Ive a couple of new 150T bar and chains, but no 150 anymore

Chain is another link I think ..maybe more so worth checking but the bar is a straight swap and lines up with oil holes etc...

Definitely wouldn’t go bigger than 10” myself.
