It needs to be made of carbon fibre so it's nice and light, with a polystyrene layer - same as a helmet.

The obvious failure on this is yr walking under tree and thin small branches catch between yr lid an yr canopy and frankly, the RA MS on this is hilareous. It IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN ,  a heavy branch section hits you and crashes you onto yr saw for example -  it is making you complacent with canopy deadwood. Though i may buy it just for walking around Croydon at night  ? K

Dunno how you would even go around testing it, it has to be Type Approved, and how Much protection does it really give?  K
