Hello

i am hoping to start chainsaw milling, i was planning on getting on of the little logosaw mills.

I have been told i need to get a new saw, i am was looking at either the husqvarna 365 or the 560XP any thought on using either or those?

to start it will mostly be boards between 12-18" maybe a little bigger but not much.

Ive seen a shed load of threads on folk in the US using the Farmtec G660's for Milling and putting an insane number of hours on them. One guy just posted on a FB group that his has died after 1800 hour of Milling.

I have some Ash Slabs to mill in the near future and they are 36". Might get one as they are about $350.

If you give the chinks a good design (Honda/Stihl) to copy (or they steal it...) they reproduce it very well indeed. Can't fault my Loncin engines.

I got a couple Villiers engines that are rebranded Loncin, and got to say they have been brilliant
