That's one way of looking at it, I suppose.

Regardless of the personal circumstances, his position is untenable. He may have been able to justify his actions to himself, but it's contrary to the deeply restrictive guidelines that he was (we can presume) an architect of. As I said earlier, do as I say, not as I do just doesn't cut it in modern politics.

Modern politics!!!’
has it ever been any different J

No, I do agree there. He really has to go so as to maintain some form of grip on the 'lock-down'. If it Dam walls where cracking before they've certainly burst now.

If you were worried about your eyesight and ability to drive, would you put your wife and kid in the car when you took it for a spin to find out?

Are you asking me to form an opinion on a tweet you posted with some quotation written by a Shane Bailey?

More relevant than any of the hysterical reaction to old Dom travelling is the stuff Boris has just announced. At least England is getting on with things. Still waiting with baited breath as to what Nicola  almighty will allow us to do up here. Looks more and more like a total

reluctance to admit that it’s time to get on with life.

Nope, Cummings said it himself.
That means he's either prepared to sacrifice his family to test a theory, or he's a liar. Each of which make him a bit of a nutter.

But you did just post a Twitter comment, with zero context. All Politicians are liars, you must know that by now, surely? You seem to have an issue with Tory lies above all other parties. It really clouds your judgement and cheapens any valid opinion you might have had.

Cummings isn't a politician. He's a Spad. Shouldn't even be given airtime.

Seems to be making a lot of political decisions though.

Websters has Politician defined as; a person who is active in politics, esp. as a job.

Seems there is quite the precedent for allowing Advisors to run the show from behind the curtain.

If you think driving a few hours to drop your kid off is bad wait til you hear what Alastair Campbell got up to during the Blair Years. :D
