Is it a scam ? It's half price, what do you think ? Enter into a dialogue with the seller and listen to the excuses why you can't pick it up and pay cash then report it to eBay via live chat. They are not very quick but they do take the listings down eventually.

If the buyer is stupid enough to pay up front that amount of money and think that it will be delivered to him without even seeing it in the flesh so to speak then he needs protecting from the world ...

I agree but you're avoiding the issue of whether ebay would pay out and maybe that is why they do little about scamming.

Sorry understood . Have you seen somewhere were it says they won't pay out then ? Maybe they will say its because the account has been hacked and its not a genuine listing ?
