I remember years and years ago (possibly on ebay) there was a Transit panel van that had been converted into a pickup!

Hilux surf pretty sure is only import so already a premium on insurance? Auto only with back and canopy top for "surf boards".. They did/do Hilux chassis cab anyway just stick tipper body on that and they do a Land cruiser pick up truck/UT

Nice rosey,we have them everywhere here in Aus, and some of the conversations are out of this world anything you want or can think of can be done from a flatbed, tipper back with multiple tray options most here strip back to a tray then add stainless steel or cheque a plated toolboxes. Most the tradies here completely deck them out as also use them for off roading up in the mountains, some good ones for sale on gumtree.au,and remember the prices shown in Aussie $ but pounds it’s around half.

Not familiar with other vehicles but a 7 seater Terrano would be relatively easy as they have full length chassis rails and the body just bolts onto it. Chop the body off behind the seats and you are done.
