Did you not post a pic of your gaff, similar time last year Mick with something that you were “training” and said it would give off an abundance of colour once ready?.... or am i mixed up with someone else?

Very good point.

I have a wisteria, that for some reason is always weeks behind all the others, especially D. Croppers. It’s in full sun but is a bit tardy.

 

I was waiting for it to improve but since you asked.

Michael,  a lesser man than I would gloat at your wisteria. However, if you remember, I only bought the house two years ago so I can't claim any credit at all.  AJSTrees actually complimented me on the training. Bugger! I was going to be rather pompous then realised you might click.

Could be a slightly less hardy species. By the look of the colour it is a more pink colour, than the regular more blue pink. Do you know which species it is?

Dunno, I forget, when I bought it I remember opting for something different, but you’re right, the flowers are more delicate and finer than the common vulgar, flashy cheap sort that @David Cropper has inherited!

No. Fairly near to a river on flattish land. I'm just off to give Young Demsey  some of my extensive knowledge regarding successful wisteria cultivation.
