As a young man trying to make it in this world I’m starting to think about joining up to trust a trader and or check a trade.

Is it worth it ?

Leave it alone, Jack.

Hi Jack, many contractors do use these schemes and some to good effect in terms of new business leads.

Latterly, a common comment I have heard is that it's reached saturation point in a particular locality and hence good contractors perhaps then look elsewhere for recognition ;) :D.

Good luck with your new venture.

Remember that any business to business contract has no coming off period and renewal terms can be tricky to decipher. Be very very very careful what you sign.

and don’t bother with check a trade, there’s only about five percent of the population left who still believe it has any credibility, and they’re about to be decimated by Coronavirus...
