Knobbers like '42 I think?

Won’t ever be enough Andy.
Now if he or other hardcore pro restriction individuals were actually being hit financially or had to pay the £1750 then you might see a difference. That’s a small but not insignificant portion of working people going to be utterly trashed financially by this especially in Sturgeons empire of envy.

How dare you question Sage and their vested interests with their shares in companies that are making billions off of this pandemic!

How dare you question the very same politicians that are caught on camera stating that Covid is the gift that just keeps on giving.

How dare you question the draconian laws that are implemented here that when not implemented in other countries their statistics are as good if not better than the UK .

;)

Jesus, the captain of my plane has shares in a life jacket company, do you think he is going to crash the bleedin plane?!

It was one politicians and he was talking about lawyers and ince when do we believe anything politicians say, ahhh that's right,  when it suits us that's when.

There have been and there are far worse laws being implemented in other countries and most  actually all of them have done exceptionally better than the UK and Sweden, Netherlands etc :).

It was Lord Falconer, the Labour shadow Attorney General, not just some politician. And about the only time I believe a word they say is when they have been caught on tape unaware and when speaking with their fellow cronies, its about the only time you'll hear a word of truth out of them as Im sure you're well aware.

There is a plethora of countries you could add to that list. Belgium, Norway, Finland, France etc etc The list goes on and on regarding Western Counties that have had vastly varying rules and restrictions in place and generally negligible differences in deaths and contagion cases.  :)

APPLE.NEWS

Nervtag also classify a second variant, found in Liverpool, as one 'under investigation'

Variants or concern and now variants of interest, SAGE, NERVTAG 😳. MSM saturation coverage every single day with these sort of headline grabbing leads.
I wonder if all these groups that seem to give themselves tactical type names ( Every time I hear the phrase “Cobra meeting “ I cringe) are maybe just maybe making the most of the platform given to them. Very much assisted by the aforementioned coverage that every utterance receives.

Announcement seen as vindication of UK's decision to vaccinate more people with a single jab before...

Damn, the UK government proving to have gotten more and more right as time passes.

Will be ignored by the haters but even they must begrudgingly admit that after a rocky start they're doing rather well now.

We've also delivered 10% of the worlds doses to the UK population. Another massive and ignored milestone that the Government should be very proud of.

To use an imperfect analogy, they're doing well like an oil company that buys some safer ships and cleans up some seabirds and the oil that washed up onto the beach after their tanker spilled millions of gallons of oil off the coast !

Hooray we might see the end of the pandemic before some other countries, unfortunately their delays and repeated incompetence and mishandling have resulted in 100000+ deaths...

So it’s the 4 devolved powers that are responsible for  the 100000+ deaths then !!.
The reality is the amount of factors involved are so complex that the imposition of even tighter lockdowns and restrictions may turn out to be a bit part player when all this is analysed in detail which it will most certainly will be. The rabid criticism dished out by the full on lockdown zealots to anyone whom questioned any of the measures is just part of the current tone. There was an excellent balanced and informed article on channel 4 news  where the actual effects of non compliance in some stubbornly high covid rate areas was dismissed as insignificant in comparison to other social aspects ie housing, working environment and population density etc etc.

Yes you would be absolutely right to lay the blame at the 4 devolved powers but with those totals being:

101,311 for England

1,957 for NI

6,551 for Scotland

5,032 for Wales

One Country in the UK seems to have done much worse (or suffered worst) from the year of delays, ditherings and general cock ups.

My point was that no amount of great work in getting and dishing out the vaccine better than other countries makes up for the cock ups that have led to us having one of the highest death rates in the world.
