I don't think most even get the chance to see the other side being as most media outlets are obsessed with pushing the official view you don't see this on the mainstream news.

Versus the other 99%. My old GP Harold Shipman did a video once about palliative care. I remember the mainstream establishment thought it dangerous and banned it. I wrote to the BBC asking for them to air it, to give the other side of the argument but the cheeky so and so’s told me to see a psychiatrist

False equivalence at its best.

Couple of interesting points on R4 this morning one being the limited take up for the vaccine by health care professionals from the Black and Asian communities and unbelievably from Doctors themselves, one NHS trust of 20000 employees  reported figures of only 37% for the above groups of staff and I think 50 something %  for Doctors I didn’t catch the exact % for the Drs as was driving at the time.
The other one which sort of gives credence to the attitudes of Unions was the outcry from the union reps about demeaning and humiliating  staff etc by the DVLA at Swansea. Apparently they sent out a questionnaire probs part of a risk assessment I’d imagine asking for waist sizes of individuals if above 34 for women and  40 for men. They justified it by quoting the increased risk from covid if the person had an overly high BMI. One to warm big Js heart I’d imagine.

Its the same with the Flu vaccine, it really seems to be the case that medical professionals just dont generally take it.

I wonder why highly intelligent professionals in the medical field dont feel the need to take it considering the places you're most likely to catch Covid is the Hospital Wards.

I'll await the responses here. Along the lines of the doctors are clearly younger and are allowing the older generation to take it first. :D

Dont turn your words around? No, how about you dont makes false claims about what Ive said regarding Norway to fit your narrative.

I dont keep skipping the question as why they are so low. I simply dont know. I dont understand how Covid manages to avoid transmission between a largely homogeneous Caucasian population not wearing masks in busy shopping centers and busy Ski Centers (paying attention here?) and busy restaurants here in Norway yet supposedly passes with ease in the UK. I dont have an answer to that. And its a question Ive been repeatedly asking here and its fallen on deaf ears with those who think that mask wearing is important.

Why dont you tell me WHY?

Your second paragraph hints that you don't believe the figures for Covid in the UK, the number of infections, admissions and deaths. Do you think they've been fabricated as well by SAGE or some other body?

It's common courtesy to answer questions if another person asks one of you. That extends to forums as well I believe. You had a question about Norway Vs UK. I don't know much about Norway so I can't say anything with authority but I can make a few half educated guesses.
Time is probably one of the biggest reasons why the UK cannot use the same relatively relaxed anti-covid measures. We are 12 months TOO LATE!
If we had taken the same strict approach as Norway back in February/March 2020 then maybe we could have kept the situation under control and be able to live under more relaxed restrictions. So far we have only ever been reactive rather than proactive in our pandemic response. As lots of different countries around the world have demonstrated: the harder and more rapid the initial response, (lockdown, border control, testing, track and trace etc), the sooner you can return to some semblance of normality.

There have been 65,338 positive cases in Norway at the time of writing, with 583 people now confirmed dead. There are 89 people hospitalised around the country, of which 31 are in intensive care. This is a notable improvement from the 163 hospitalised in mid-January.>>>>>>>>>
I've just copied that from here:-
WWW.LIFEINNORWAY.NET

UPDATED 10 FEB: Norway's border closure to most non-residents including many foreign workers has been extended to the end of the month. Different measures are in place throughout the country. Read on for full details.

If we had stats like that then we could take the Norway approach. I'm almost certain that if Norway had stats like ours (4,038.078 cases, 117,167 deaths, 23,341 hospitalisations), then they would be imposing far, far tougher restrictions than the half arsed attempts that we've currently got in the UK.

If you put all your energy into something constructive you could make something of yourself like buying homes and renting them out. 😉

Or blowing £5000 on a course to trade in Stocks yet fall back on manual labour?

As a Window Cleaner you'd think that a company charging you £5000 for such a course would have big windows and they'd clearly see you coming? Maybe you thought they needed a clean first?

I know dozens of drs and to a person they all have taken the covid vac. apathy explains the less than 100% uptake of flu, esp as in some it years when they get it wrong it is miserably ineffective. I remember it was only 10% a few years back
