Has anyone got or tried out a Line Launcher 40 002 Series?  It uses Firearms .22 blank cartridges to launch a throwlin. But if you can aim it and it was accurate, it could save a fair amount of time messing about.

Interested in people view if you have tried it out..

That’s not cheap! I doubt it’s very quiet either!

I have made an air cannon from a ball valve and scaffold tube, pump up with a track pump and it will cope with most uk trees and is really accurate

Got a firearms ticket more than 12 ftlbs and you have a section 1 firearm

Is the device on your firearms certificate?

I don't  see it as being worth mentioning even if technically required.

I wonder what the view is on those kids rockets you pump up and the blow out a jet of water to propel themselves.

I was meant to be ironic , he’s made a air powered bazooka with which much fun can be had you cannot be too careful especially if you hold a fac, spoken from experiance

I actually own one and there classed as a dog dummy trainer apparently.

Pros:

sounds like a cannon,

Has a good ability to punch through brambles and fire high over objects for winching, zip lines, dragline etc.

Cons:

Dummies which I have are quite light sadly.

It makes a hell of a noise.

Not as accurate as I'd hoped but others may be better than me.

I also own 2 air launchers. 1 for throwbags and 1 for throw pods.

Not control for height really.

Pros:

Very accurate,

You can adjust the amount of force you put in for height.

Easy to Store,

Doesn't mind water,

Doesn't make a huge sound,

Everyone prefers it.

Great for setting any type of line application really.

Cons:

You need a bike pump or compressor with you.

There about 1.5m long.

you don't need a firearms license as its not got a barrel ! the small  one is a little heavier and quite accurate but very noisy
