Sorry folks, I should have elaborated.

I should have said that people that use them for hedge and lighter material flat out tend to have problems.

On another note, replaced the 13" bar and chain tonight for a 15 tsumura.

On first impressions the tsumura is ever so slightly better quality than the 20" sugi on the 572.

As said in several posts early on, I used a Mk2 for the first time on Monday and power-wise it felt more like a 560 - I'll be buying one and the cheapest i can see so far is around 520 quid from garden machinery limited, though with a 13 bar. The chain speed must be off the scale with something that small, it ran bloody well with an 18

I’ve been slamming some big old trees this week with my 550 mk2, and it is just awesome. It’s a big upgrade from the mk1 I reckon.

In all honesty I should have been using something a bit bigger like 372 but it coped with the extra I asked of it with ease.

Im sure you’ll enjoy your new one Kay 9.

So far so good. Have 2 big Ash and a pine for felling this weekend but waiting on a winch as their near the road and back leaning. Don't want to depend on wedging them over.

Between the little 550 and the 572 shouldn't take too long
