Is it just me, or does anyone else have problems with fastening the ankle velcro on these ones?! It's gotten a bit silly actually, I have to ask my climber colleague or the groundie to pull the velcro strap tight for me, as you kinda have to pull it away from you...

The oldschool buckingham spikes we used to have at my last job were just as bad.

 

If you did them up yourself they'd move around so we had to adjust the buckles for each other.

 

Which can look a bit gay.

What about the new titanium bucks i have them witht the velcro and there snug :top:

i have that problem with the velcro i just leave do them as tight as i can which isnt very tight but they stay were there put. i did think about trying to put a leather strap on them instead.

Imagine the stick you get from builders. One guy kneeling down in front of another. They think you're weird anyway but that just tips the scales.

i've only got the original gecko's. i thought the idea of velcro on the feet was awesome. but i don't think you can get the foot straps as tight as a buckle strap. also the velcro is failing on my shin pads which is becoming really annoying, where do i get that fixed?
