Done lots of looking into this but Still not deciding what is the best small company chipper for around 2.5k brand new ?

i am tempted with either a oxdale del Merino 13hp Honda one or a Jansen GTS-2000pro with a Koehler engine

it’s hard to tell by online videos if these will be  productive enough .bulk of the workload will be hedge removal work ie conifer etc .any thoughts about this ?

...and a lot more than £2.5k new but worth it.  Buy cheap, buy twice.  A cheapo won't still be giving good service in five years time.

You may resist the higher initial cost but you'll regret it when you have a huge pile of conifer brush to start chipping at 2pm miles from home and your cheap chipper decides to choose that day to let bits go.

Loncin engines are fantastic. I have half a dozen in various guises. Would take loncin over Briggs any day, probably Kohler too going on past experience with them.

The Jansen type will handle most stuff that you can fit into the hopper,  but you have to be prepared to help feed it sometimes and also hold it back from choking on certain stuff!
